Kase’s Story
Kase Harry was 14 when he passed away tragically on his way to the place he loved most—the football field. A rising freshman at Craig High School, Kase was a young man standing on the doorstep of his dreams, ready to trade his youth for the "Friday Night Lights."
A Dream in White and Blue
Since his earliest days playing flag football, Kase had one goal: to wear the Craig white and blue. He didn't just want to play the game; he wanted to earn it. Kase was known for his relentless work ethic, often spending his summer mornings working to better himself, not just as an athlete, but as a teammate. He possessed the natural leadership of a Captain, a title he earned by leaving everything on the field and demanding the best from those around him through encouragement and example.
Beyond the Jersey
While football was his passion, Kase’s true legacy lies in the person he was off the field. He was a vibrant soul, defined by a unique blend of:
- Unwavering Kindness: He had a knack for looking out for others and making sure everyone felt like they belonged whether on the field or in the school hallways.
- A Quick Wit: His signature sarcasm was a badge of honor for those who knew him, often serving as the perfect spark to lighten a heavy mood or bring a smile to a friend’s face.
- Authenticity: Kase was unapologetically himself—a loyal son, a devoted friend and brother, and a leader who led with his heart.
A Legacy That Lives On
Though his life was cut short before he could play his first official high school snap, Kase will forever be a part of the Craig High School family. He will be remembered every time the lights turn on Friday night and every time a teammate pushes through the final whistle. He taught us that it isn't the number of years in a life, but the heart put into those years, that truly matters.
Kase is survived by a community that adored him, a family that cherished him, and teammates who will carry his memory into every end zone.
